Default WLAN Connection @ Sto. nino Village

im doing a poll regarding the possibility of putting up a WiFi system in sto. nino Village. I guess this is possible, because the bandwitdh provider is assuring us that they can give us a guaranteed CIR and bandwidht. I guess if were going to put it up, the surrounding areas of the village will have access too. combined the help from a wireless equipment provider from singapore who specializes in this type of set up. 3 access point unit could be installed in the area to assure maximum coverage with least signal loss.

you guys out their, i would appreciate you comment n suggestions. if you have ideas please post it.

we know that most people have problems with the wifi system the big carriers are putting up. 1 is the point of presence which is lacated around 1-2 km away, 2 is the type of CPE equipment used, and poor bandwidth management. All the hype that the big carriers put into getting us to sign up for 2 years for for service. Always take caution to the words they use such as "UP TO 386kbps" meaning to say from 0 to 386. hehehhe. pardon me for being cynical about this. Some poor sucker out there is wondering what this is all about.

Just imagine that the entire village will have at least 8 POP units blanketing the entire stretch. no external antennas to use just a plane NIc or dongle. one could roam around the village carrying his laptop without getting disconnected. Puera lang kong holdupon ka, ma disconnect ka gyud
