True Citron Sebrights are a nonstandard mutation in themselves, they are a true breeding colour type that may have arisen out of gold/silver crosses, but they are not a blend of the two, and they have been known for many years, they were originally called ' Creamy ' Sebrights, but have never gained recognition in the UK.
If you cross a Gold Sebright male with a Silver Sebright female, you get the Gold X Silver *** linked results of Gold Pullets and Silver males, with the males showing brass in their necks.
If you cross a Silver male with a Gold female, all the progeny will be silver, the pullets will appear pure, but the males, as in the first cross, will show gold leakage.
Golds will bleach considerably in the sun, and some strains of silver will yellow, and yet others seem unaffected by exposure to the sun.
Continental citrons are of the highest quality, and a number have been imported here in recent years, so these could well be true Citron Sebrights.
