how much do you usually place a charge for a website?

funny how people think of web design these days. sure you can buy a $7 wp theme anytime, but thats about it. you get a "out-of-the-box" theme.... and probably you'll have (insert amount of people who bought the same theme) exact duplicates of your website. others "customize" those premium themes like changing the logo and header image. geez wow. we're so impressed... ^_____^

so as for your $30 question... it's ok if you're a newbie. sh*t, you probably just do it for free anyway. as for pros, they charge per hour. here where i stay, they charge $3,000 - $5,000 for developing a magazine type wordpress website. and we're just a small time multimedia company.
