here are my theories about why teachers are so tihik giving grades...

First, new teacher na sya... i mean first time teacher sya, then as you know most of them are a bit idealistic pabilib ba... na grabe sya og standards mao tihik hatag og grades... they follow by the book on how to deal with stuff... ang kato experienced na teachers kabalo na sila mo-inat og grado, ilaha e-weigh pla ang highest nya i-compared sa lowest score sa exams...

before when i was in highschool, our teacher in math do different analysis every grading period iyaha jud i-consider pla ka students ang nakapasar, the highest score sa exam and pla ka students nahagbong... iyaha meet sa middle kay the scores of the students are reflective of how effective the teacher is. this math teacher i had in highschool from 2nd year to 4th year di man kaayo mo matter ang behavior para nya kung unsa moha scores aw mao jud na sa oral participation ra dghon (sahay anhi ka dg-on sa oral participation, this is the usual alibi of the teachers kay hadlok lagi sila ingnon sayup compute, "ah gamay man gud imoha participation, mao na naka-apekto sa moha grado" the problem with oral participation lisud i-measure sa mahinumduman ra sa teacher kinsa sge participate not unless if everybody was given the chance to participate.)

2nd... muha behavior sa yaha class. let's face it teachers are also human, masakitan, maglagot, sapoton kung ki-at ang mga students ang kapaet lang most of them manimawos sa grade... bisan unsa ka maayo kung dika duol sa maestra og ki-atan ayo ka mgsurok yaha dugo mao na gamay mo grade.

3rd... kung sobra ka bright moha teacher labi na cum laude, or who graduated with high honors mao pud na ang problema.. naa pud uban nila high au standards, tihik mohatag grado sort of they have this thinking na wala nay makalabaw sa ilaha pagkabright or wala lang jud maka-apas sa iyaha gi set nga standards.

As for me? Reklamo tag-iya og principal why dako ko hatag grado sa history sa 1st-4th year hiskul naku asta gud mga ki-atan mga line of 80+ ang grade... I have this principle, walay bogo o ki-at na student if tarungon lang og dala, naay uban super duper ki-at if naay seat work ako jud pug-son og pa-answer. Asta quiz, I will make sure dili ma zero ang kato slow learner, etc... so fair game lang.. Kay at the end of the day parents would want the best for their children. Told them my goal is when your parents see your report card, they will be all smiling because you got line of 80+ as a grade. The way I teach is not the traditional one but more of a practical one since history will be barely used when you go to work or business unlike MATH and English, may pagka lenient lang ko. Ang ako-a lang naa sila makat-unan at the end of the day and ma-apply nila karon og sa future payts nako ana

Oh, naay uban mglagot ko sahay but I always tell my students dili kamo ako gikalagutan kung di inyoha gibuhat do not worry this will never affect your grade at all. I do value equality and fairness, mao ne guiding principle nako...

@ TS basin naa sa usa sa ako theory ang imoha teacher it's either your teacher is a new teacher too idealistic, behavior nimo if pirme sya mapungot. mglagot, or feel lang nya di sya ganahan nimo or your teacher is super duper bright sa math na para nya wala dpat makakuha og 90.

This is a sad reality but this is how some teachers are... face it nalang T.S. at the end of the day ang mo matter naa kay nakat-unan, then when you go to college make it BIG, then when you graduate venture in business or work so hard and be in top position! Then, ngkita nimo sa moha teacher, ingna "thanks for the grade of 88 mam or sir, this is where I am now!

The best revenge is doing good in your life! This is the sweetest revenge of all!
