Has anyone tried get data back for ntfs ver. 3.03?

This software is used to retrieve data from a formatted drive. Problem is the software is on a demo basis. I have seen the file I was looking for but cant copy it since it is in demo mode.
Do you have any software who has the same ability to this one that is a freeware?
