OBJECTIVE:

Good PM po mga fishing fanatics, I'm not Cebuano but makasabot gamay kay my wife is also from Cebu. I'm currently in Cebu doing a project and have been a frequent visitor at TCE and porter Marina.(Ms. Farrah,Paul heto nagreply nako)

I'm also a fishing addict. Just want to share one fishing spot here in Cebu. Medyo gala rin ako everyweekend kakahanap ng magandang fishing spot.

Place is in SOGOD, an abandoned pier. Site is near the fish sanctuary but fishing is OK as per the locals as long as not destructive. Locals are also fishing using lines only without rods but sometimes they catch more than we do .

Looks like a good spot but were not that lucky to catch the big ones yet.My friend got a good size snapper while I was able to catch a huge Octopus but was not able to land dahil kumapit sa pier. Travel time is 1 and a half hour, no entrance fee, place is relatively safe even overnight.



Hope to join you in your next adventure (but not this weekend coz I'm going back to Manila)
