BLIZZARD TO OFFER PREPAID GAME CARDS FOR SC 2


IRVINE, Calif. – Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today announced that a range of prepaid game card options for the English version of its record-breaking real-time strategy game StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty will be available to players in Hong Kong/Macau, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand beginning 18 November, 2010.

StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty game cards provide an additional, flexible payment option alongside the existing boxed version of StarCraft II, which includes unlimited access for the life of the game. They are available in 3-day, 7-day, and 30-day pass versions, and can be used on the Southeast Asian Battle.net server for StarCraft II single-player and multiplayer play. A DVD starter kit will also be available, allowing players to install the game client quickly and conveniently without the need to download it. The DVD starter kit will contain a 7-day pass along with a guide to creating a Battle.net account and installing the client. Suggested retail prices for the game cards and starter kit in each region are listed below:

I wonder how good this game is, i bought mine since it came out and installed it right away and played like 45minutes. Since then, i haven't played SC2 anymore coz i don't have much time (i wish i have).

According to my account, my status is Unlimited, do i still have to pay monthly like my WoW starting November 18? if that so, that really sucks.



Nevermind, i figured the answer of my noob question. LOL, i am not used of reading the whole thing, kinda lazy behavior thingy.

IAHGames: Blizzard and Level Up! Games recently announced a partnership to distribute Starcraft 2 prepaid cards in the Philippines. The prepaid subscription system lets players from the Southeast Asia region to get the Starcraft 2 full retail version for free but needs the prepaid subsciption to access Battle.net for 3 days, 7 days or 30 days.

The prepaid cards sound cool and all. But if you think about it. If you save enough money to buy the original installer, you spend 3.5k one time and you get to play FOREVER. Rather than spending over 3.5k in a year and having limited playing time.

People you have to buy the INSTALLER! It is really worth the money I swear!
