Their theme manager is a version of Stardock's Theme manager, the two skins included seem to be built in to the manager itself, so i don't we can use WB to switch to the alienware skins, i'm not sure though. From what i read if you have stardock's theme manager when you install Alienware's manager it'll add the two themes into SD's manager. .

So here's my current desktop, same ol' layout.



Res : 1600x1000
OD+ 1.04, 3 tabbed docks and one zoom dock.
Zoom dock has vector cell theme, colorized off-white. Top tabs has blue plastic tabs, tray tab has thin and translucent.
DesktopX 2.20, with Longhorn Calendar and Noteit Widgets, and IconX activated.

The new desktopX has a really useful hotkey feature now. I can be surfing da intarrnet(!!!) or playing with PS then hit the hotkey (editable) to display the widgets/objects i have, then hit it again to put them back on the desktop (or to hide 'em). Makes the widgets a lot more useful. They're also not the resource hogs they once were.

I have a copy of DesktopX ... will play with it soon. I have DesktopX Enhanced and DesktopX Professional ... what is the difference? Send me the WP bai. That blood is sekkssiiii.

vern, desktopx pro allows you to export your created objects into EXE's, so it's useful for developers. Enhanced is just the pay version of the free desktopx i think. the free desktopx doesn't have iconx btw.

Oh yeah, I have IconX, but it produces a weird behaviour on ObjectDock. The tabbed dock no longer "stays on to" if I have IconX running. tsk tsk.

that's weird, i don't have that problem, either by running iconx standalone or as part with desktopx.

Flyouts are amusing and visually appealing.. but IMHO, completely useless ....
