Skin & Coat supplements for dogs

What supplements are you using for your dog's skin and coat? What's the best product that you could recommend?

I have tried the ff:

1. Omega Magic= works great but unfortunately some of my dogs are allergic to it
2. Coat Shine= shiny jud ang coat but sa skin
3. VCO= discontinued use coz mura man wala effect
4. Brewer's Yeast= not satisfied with results, vet also warned us that sometimes it may do more harm than good (esp. to dogs w/ existing skin problems)

Want to try K9 showstopper but mejo mahal2x jud xa, kinsa naka use ani? effective jud or naa mas cheaper alternative na moproduce ug same results?

when you say Brewer's Yeast, do you mean Excel Brewer's Yeast? kay naa man sad gud lain brewer's yeast. if you don't mean excel brewer's yeast, itry sad na kay i tried using and nice ang effect. i tried sad show stopper, nindot pud but you're right, mahal2x jud.

its a different brand of brewer's yeast, not Excel but the problem there daw is the yeast/fungus itself... it may trigger allergies most especially when the dog's immune system is weak--

but other dog owners swear by brewer's yeast w/ garlic as a really effective skin and coat supplement and flea deterrent, so i guess, its a case to case basis. depende lang sa "hiyang".

yes na recall siya so be careful when you buy. expiry with jan 2013 ang affected. gi balik na man ang affected products but still be careful lang...

I feed them lamb based dogfood (its hypoallergenic!hehehe). Is there any brand of lamb based dogfood that does wonders for the skin and coat? coz ive already tried different brands but they are inferior compared to those with fish or chicken as main meat source. That's why I always have them on skin and coat supplements.

We have chows, weve tried giving them Holistic, Vitality, Acana Lamb n Apple (this one is good though, just heavy on the pocket bec we have several dogs) and Proplan...
