Cebu is a city-break destination which has the bonus of beach resorts. Most tourists are short-stay and are here simply because of the international airport and Cebu's proximity to Hong Kong and Singapore. I feel that more effort should be focused on improving the infrastructure around Mactan and reclamation area as this investment is crucial for sustaining growth. Franky speaking the province is a sideshow in terms of tourism because the shopping experience is bound to the City.
