the first photo sir are from around 15 photos stitched together using CS5 photomerge... if you noticed naay 2 ka tawo sa kilid... ang naka-tripod and naka-puti kai si Henry and the other one is a co-club member
the second photo was taken with long shutter technique with 3-stops GND
the third photo was taken using an ND8 plus 2 GND's of different stops
the 4th was done with an ND400 and a single GND
all of the photos color saturation was tweaked due to the fact that I shoot in "neutral"..... white balance is crucial that I was running at -8-9000K until about 5000K as the sun comes higher... we left our hotel at about 4:30am for us to catch the first light and ended at about 8:30am.... salamat sir

in my own personal preference bossing... HDR's are best for conceptual shoots as what Hill/Dragan are best but learn to control it... dili kaayo ko in favor of HDR when applied to landscapes, best is to use different filters primarily (ND,GND,CPL, warming filter) to achieve the intended pictures you wanna catch... but HDR can be applied sa cityscape (labi na high contrast and texture)

basta I shoot always in "neutral" and the seldom I go for "standard" unless grabe ka flat ang given light...

Why "neutral" - it is a given fact that nikon's blewout the reds when going vivid and is leaning towards an orange cast photo... that why am shooting on neutral for me to get that unsaturated photo and would just tweak its color saturation to its rightful colors... in some instances that direct photo is needed I just bump up the on cam saturation control to 2-3 notch

wala gyud nah problema ang pagshare because we also learn from it... I believe nga kung walay mata ang tudloan then wala gyud tay mabuhat sa buta... hehehehe... some tend to share infos or give CC's but they do it in such a way nga lisud sabton... either hadlok maapsan or para ingnun ngelngeg... hihihihi...
Ai Henry "hayj" pabangkahon nato kay sige lang haros ug contest

Since I've heard about this majestic falls I dreamed about getting there and capturing it... Then came November 17, 2010 that I have to start my journey to the Tinuy-an Falls. Getting to Tinuy-an was no ordinary trip. I flew in to Butuan as my entry point and took a 200Php 5-hour van ride to Mangagoy. It was already late that I arrived in Mangagoy. I checked-in at Shiela's which cost me 400/night on a small airconditioned room with a very tight toilet/bath. That particular night I tried negotiated for a "habal-habal" ride to the falls which cost me 400Php and agreed that I have to be at the falls before daybreak inorder for me to catch the falls on its first light.

Next day came and I was greeted by a dazzling display of pink clouds but my ride wasnt there. As a result I requested for Shiela's guard to fetch me one and which he did. Off we go and headed for the falls and only to stop for a 100Php gas.

The way to the falls was a bumpy ride and a thrill. The only thing sad was the smell of fallen trees for the logging company to fetch. Reforestration on this part is slow or maybe perhaps zero but the truck who does the hauling goes non-stop... This must be addressed. On the way I saw a "banog" or brahmmy kite on top of a tree stalking for prey, such a wonderful sight.

After a 30-minute bumpy ride I was greeted by this wonderful sight which am going to share.......

Behold.... the beauty... the grandeur..... the three-tiered majestic Tinuy-an Falls...

The falls is dubbed as the Niagara Falls of the Philippines which measures 95m in width and 55m in height... The sight I saw and captured was all worth the trouble of getting there...
