holiday lang
Classes in public elementary and high schools will resume on November 2, the Department of Education (DepEd) said Saturday.
"According to DepEd Order 26 (series of) 2010, mid-year break is from Oct 25-29 therefore classes in public schools will resume on Nov 2," the agency said in its Twitter account.
Many public schools nationwide were used as polling centers in last Monday's barangay (village) and Sangguniang Kabataan (youth council) elections, potentially disrupting classes as school resources were shifted to accommodate the polls.
Meanwhile, Malacaņang had declared November 2 a regular working day and has yet to accommodate any calls to make the day a non-working holiday.

butol man gud ng bag-ong administration. Pareha sa ilang leader na Abnoy.
The more holidays there are, the more NORMAL people get an increase in their salary. Coz mga NORMAL employees (ex. Jolibee workers, Callcenter Agents, etc.) will most likely still work on holidays, so murag gihatagan ra silag bonus sige coz of the previous administration.
Karon kay butol man si Abnoy, mao na di ka.realize.
Well first time. To enjoy the holiday since transferring to my new job. Enjoy lang sa ko without complaints...
