The best solution provider gyud ni ang Asrock! The only brand+chipset that as s939 support with REAL AGP8X and PCIe 16x

no it provides a Conroe platform with AGP and DDR1 support!!

based on the reviews ive seen DDR1 doest fall behind in STOCK performance, the difference of DDR2-800 vs DDR1-400 is less than 1% in real world performace. overclocking is a different matter though.. maybe il upgrade to this combo instead of getting a 4400X2

    775VSTA + E6600

and a via southbridge to boot! ( which doesnt have any problems with the X-Fi unlike nForce4 SB )

the benchmarks have spoken already!! im very impressed with it! the only reason why im avoiding any nforce4 mobo is the X-Fi incompatilibilty

the best combo system ani sa is E6300 + 775VSTA and using exsisting ram and videocard.. coz the E6300 is faster than any stock X2 avalable

checked online retailers looks like the 775Dual VSTA has been out for a while, avg price of $55~60!! so thats gonna be a price point of 3,900 ~ 4,400 diri sa cebu! which is a very good deal. pair it up with an E6300 or E6600 and you got a system that can make a 4600X2 cry.

theres one minor problem. it seems the on this board PCIe at 4x gives a performance drop ( quite a bit ).. which is im wondering why as the even AGP bandwidth cant be fully stressed.
