You've heard of bad governance, war, and corruption, haven't you? These are the real causes of poverty, not the imagined "overpopulation" you are so hysterical about.
2.) the article looks at the problem from an idealistic point of view.. it doesnt give a realistic view on the the problem... ideally, the whole concept is good... but sad to say, it isnt practical.. hell, it is even so detached to whats really going on the streets n barangays..
On the contrary, it is the overpopulation myth that is totally out of touch with reality. Population control has never worked because poverty is not caused by population growth.
id rather be euthanised than place a burden on my children!
In case youi haven't noticed, you don't have a choice. Your taxes pay for retirement benefits and other support systems for the elderly. When you get old and retire, your chiuldren's taxes will pay for your benefits and support. What would you have us do? Remove these benefits and let the aged suffer and die on their own just because you may have enough money (while others don't)? That is inhumanly selfish of you.
Since these systems are already in place and are necessary, it does
not make sense to implement population control, policies that will bring abiout population ageing (thus increasing the proportion of non-working aged persons that have to be supported by the taxes of a proportionately shrinking category of working persons).
