If you have to go abroad, i highly recommend the U.S.! go for it! you'll love it here. Besides, especially California, morag Pinas na man sab dire. Too many filipinos. Its home away from home. Everything is here. Naa na gani dire Chow King, Jollibee, Red Ribbon, Goldilocks, Max Fried Chicken, Ling Nam, Ma Mon Luk, Ong Pin Noodle House, just to name a few. Halos kada kanto naay pinoy store and big supermarkets carrying asian goods and products. Where i work i'd say 70% pinoys that should be enough to make you feel at home minority na man gani siguro mga americans dire where i live. Mostly pinoys.

I've lived here since i was 17 yrs. old and I'm now? ayaw na lang maulaw ko, hehehe.

OT: @streetcar: that's very true.. dghan kau pinoy dha.. as for me, d lang kau ko ganahan og dghan na kau pinoy kung naa sa states kay mostly nila hambugero/hambugera.. not that im judging though but that's the fact.. pasikatay dayun... ako kontento nko dri.. no offense.. opinion ko lang..im not generalizing but i can say mostly jud..

I do agree that the more you closely associate with pinoys as a group, the greater the conflict. Ewan ko ba talaga why its like that. I dont associate with a lot of pinoys kay sort of loner ko by nature i enjoy quiet times to myself and i dont seem to need that barkada system to make me feel complete so anad na ko mag-isa. Anyway, i think kinaiya na gyud nato na mga pinoy no? dili magkasinabot, mga tsismosa pa, walay unity imbis magtinabangay mag sipang daut na man hinoon. It turns me off specially ang akong upbringing more westernized na ko. I hate crabby mentality.

Anyways....mosty naman those who come to the States will make good money and can send back money to their loved ones back home.

Yeah California, grabe na lagi kadaghan sa pinoys dire. Its a culture shock.
