    Aros are very difficult to breed, mangita nag: earthen pond, climate and the right partner (mao u need to put them by groups). ^^
    but record shows they can also breed in tanks and concretes, swerty n kayo na!

    trivia: duha pa ang officially recorded of captive breeding (Asian aro); ang isa na breed niya iya Aros sa iyang swimingpool. ^^

    @jdjd
    tips: Aros loves live food like guppy, feed ur feeder fish with nutritious pallets then e lawg sa Aro.
    for the SW, any vegetables w/ Vit A will do. to fatten them up u need more juicer food for the SW like potato.
    but Silver Aros will still remain silver ^^ no color will change, so keep them healthy nlang pra nindot tanawn. ^^

    sir pain, unsai cause sa drop eye ? nia unsaon pod na pag cure ?

  10. #310
    Dropeye syndrome: is a cosmetic defect, not fatal, but minus point gud sa Aro (murag libat kung sa tao pa).

    Caused: mag sigi tanaw sa ubos. ang ila mata dili na mo balik ug saka (ni ongot).
    Why? the fatty tissue of the Aros (dapit sa mata) are blocking its eyeballs to go bck to normal after staying long down wards. main reason is the reflection of the mirror sa ubos and searching for food.

    Advice: put something below to cover the glass (like gravels) and always take out uneaten food.
    you can put some floating colored balls sa tank or anything that can catch their attention sa babaw.

    solution: If bago or minor pa, u can take my advices pra ma ulian. But if grabe or dugay na, an eye surgery is needed pra ma kuha ang mga nag block n tissue and ma balik ang position sa eye.
