Default All about CEBU PACIFIC Airlines

Yes this is a very affordable way to travel by plane. But to all passenger, you must be aware of the services and danger of flying planes that is over used (I don't know if they follow Regulatory board on the number of services required per number of hour used of each plane). I had ride only 4 times with this airline but I had enough of the rude attendant, bad services, super low baggage allowance. They treat passenger us beggars begging for a low fare. And the delay is super, my flight from Manila to Cebu was 5:45 to 5pm and we end up departing at 11pm when I arrived Cebu I saw everyone chasing taxi because it was too late na.

And based on all Gokowee's business Cebu Pacific, Sun, Robinson, .etc just look at the services, the subscriber can not be reach daw even the one you are calling is just beside you and the phone is on.

If you want cheap fare even very poor quality and safety go for this.

    .
High utilization equals dangerous is one of the common misconceptions about Low Cost Carriers. To succeed in its business model, Cebu Pacific's planes need to be flown a lot. However, Cebu Pacific's planes are seeing just as much use as other LCCs in other parts of the world such as JetStar (Australia), Southwest (USA), EasyJet (UK) or Ryanair (Ireland), all of which enjoy excellent safety records (none of these airlines have had fatal accidents despite being "cheap").

High utilization is one of the reasons why LCCs must use new aircraft, which Cebu Pacific does. AirPhil Express is also taking the new route by obtaining brand new aircraft (they have a lot of new planes coming in starting this month). New aircraft means higher reliability, not to mention fuel efficiency. If they use old aircraft, they certainly won't be able to utilize them as much because they won't be as reliable. Older aircraft also consume more fuel, which means flying them will cost more.

And by the way, Cebu Pacific's maintenance is done in partnership with SIA Engineering Company, which is the maintenance arm of no less than Singapore Airlines, one of the world's best airlines. (PAL has Lufthansa Technik as its maintenance provider). Its flight operations are closely monitored by Airbus technical representatives (as are AirPhil's, PAL's and Zest). Airbus absolutely insists that its products be maintained and operated in accordance with their standards. When one local airline habitually deviated from those standards (hint hint not 5J, PR or 2P), Airbus reported it to the European aviation authorities and this eventually contributed to ALL Philippine operators being blacklisted.

I can't say much about your point about poor service (I've seen similar poor treatment of passengers from PAL), but as far as safety and maintenance are concerned, the aircraft are safe. As I always like to tell people, we are fortunate in the Philippines to have a choice.
