Default Saving for an electric violin :D

    When did you start playing?

I know this is a totally wrong thing to do but xD and I don't know how to play the violin but...

I'm saving up money to buy an electric violin. I know the acoustic violin's sound is already perfect as it is, I thought I'd pump it up like Emily Autumn.

I've been hunting down music stores for the perfect electric violin. I'm also a lead guitarist so xD I play both classical and metal. Uhh, how do I know if it's a quality electric violin? I know how to choose an acoustic but an electric might have something different that I might miss.

After watching that video of Rachel Barton and her music studies, I wanted to learn violin and so I decided to She did a study on 'Metal artists and their relation to classical music' which blew me away. Sure I have been playing classical for a long time but I had no idea they were so close.

Here's a link of her during one of her arrangements of one of the more popular metal songs.

YouTube - Pantera's Cowboys From Hell on violin and cello

I do metal versions of romance, classical or modern orchestrated pieces, violin and cello concertos (bach's cello pieces are to die for) on my electric guitar when I'm bored.

    Pieces I've done (most I haven't completed)
    1. Enerlkonig
    2. Vivaldi's Summer
    3. Bethoven's 5th
    4. Motzart's Allegro
    5. Toccata and Fugue
    6. Fighting/Argueing Aunts (I forgot the first part of the title but it's a piano piece)
    7. Start Wars (WOo0o0!)
    8. Devils Galop (Fun song)
    9. Mozarts 4th
    10. Flight of the bumble bee (only the first 1 minute 26 seconds...chromatic scales get tiring)

    ...I...HATE..CANON!!!

That's the thing xD bago bago ra. Mga one month pa. Long way to go pero seriouso gyud ko ani. I take my instruments very seriously. Samot ang guitar...metronome training 3 hours a day. Conditioned na akung tendons pero when it comes to akung movement of the bow kay luod kaayo xD uwaw kaayo paminawon if compared sa akung Electric guitar. Mao na akung nanotice na string instruments gyud akung hilig. Actually Cello unta akung sunod after guitar pero mahalon unya hassle ag pagdala. Kaila ka ni Emily Autumn? Hopefully after 3 years I can play like that. How long have you been playing and who taught you/how did you learn?
