I really don't care if there is an invasion. Thats invaders prerogative.
All I can say if there is an invasion I'm sure we will give them some hell even if we lack some equipments.

hehehe mga kuraot man ang mga planes nila. nanga crash nuon. luoy kaayo ang na ulila.
On the other hand, the most high-tech of air defense radars will still be useless without interceptors. We have the S211 filling the air defense role, but that aircraft isn't even capable of intercepting a garden variety Airbus or Boeing. Those airliners can easily outrun an S211, how much more front-line military aircraft.
yes, you said it right there... the S211 is not capable of intercepting. and besides we are not expecting to engage in a dogfight with foreign aircrafts. the best we can to is employ our air defense RADAR for monitoring. at least we can detect forces coming in and out of our airspace whether friend or foe... if we have this monitoring then we can study our defenses and how to deal with it. as of now RADAR is best to be employed in our air force. and i hope the RND department of the AFP will arrive in a program to customize our existing aircrafts ang equipments...
btaw grabeh na jud ka karaan sa mga aircraft nato sa AirForce...
An air traffic controller told me about high-flying airplanes (we're talking 70,000 to 80,000 feet) occasionally transiting Philippine airspace with impunity, even today. Nationality unknown.
In the PAF's Golden Age (60's and early 70's), the USAF operated air defense radars in La Union. They often detected Russian Tu-95 "Bear" recon aircraft entering Philippine airspace. These Bears were flying out of bases in Vietnam and were probably testing our country's air defense capabilities. Aside from USAF and USN aircraft, PAF interceptors (F-86s and later F-5s) were also sent up to "escort" these huge bombers until they left our airspace. Now an S.211 would be hard-pressed to keep up with even a propeller-driven Bear.![]()
ka lo-oy diay nato aneh kong kalit lang ta tagakan og bomba wa tay kalibotan kinsa.....
