yep he is a real prophet. sure 12 wives were under his care. Most of them were widowed their husbands were killed in battle. No one was left to take care of hem, so Mohammad had to play the role of a husband for them. By the way most of the wives were OLD.

of course they won't have virgins waiting in paradise because as ive said taking lives of innocent people is a no no in Islam.
