Okay ra ang Airphil, brand-new man ilang mga jet aircraft. They took delivery of a brand-new Airbus A320 a couple of weeks ago, then this week naa na pud bag-o nga A320.

Ang kanang promo dili na sila ma lugi. For instance, one aircraft can carry 180 passengers. Out of the 180 available seats on one flight, let's say 10 ra ilang ipa promo price (example lang ni, ang number of promo seats depende ra gyud na sa marketing and sales nila). So naa pa 170 seats nga dili promo price.

Multiply the 10 promo seats by the number of departures per day and number of days included in the travel period, you can easily have 50,000 seats available for promo (as they always like to claim).

Usahay kung lean travel season, marketing will predict how many seats won't be filled up at the regular price. Then kaning mga seats, rather than going to waste by being unoccupied by the time the plane flies, ibutang dayon na nila under promo. Better nga naay ginagmay nabayran ang pasahero kay sa zero kung unoccupied ang seat.

Usually they do promos to create noise and excitement. Maka notice mo every time one airline has a promo, bawus gyud ang uban mga airline para dili sila ma wala sa passing (ang Zestair lang ang exception kay hina ang marketing nila, for some reason).

But they'll make money off the guys who pay regular fare, and most especially those who are chance passengers kay full-fare man ang bayran sa chance pax (as much as P4,000+ Cebu-Manila one-way!).

kana lang daan, mahal gud business class. nya pila kabuok magchance passenger everyday?
