Naay ni offer nako karon for an IT Helpdesk position very attractive rate
however they require me to have a phone on which I can make/receive
international calls. Unsaon man ni nko? Naay way ani..

Try asking them if ok thru Skype. Pwede man ka video calls diha.
Make sure lang na maayu imo internet connection.

hi ive been w/ odesk since aug and wla pa gyud ko nka get ug project. can u share ur tips on how to get hired?

I am a member in odesk mga 1 year ang 3 months na. And so far, God has been so good to me.

I have a few tips for beginners:
* complete your profile
* make your profile rate attractive but not super low. May be between ($1-2.50) lang usa.
* put all your skills nga you know naa ka.. bisan simple lang kaayo like Word, Excel, powerpoint, data entry ug uban pa.
* keep applying for job kanang kaya ra jud nimo
* before applying check how much other people bid then make yours lower a little than them if you want to get the job.
* much better if you are the first few people who applied for the job kay more likely your bid will get noticed kung ika 120 naka sa list kinsa paman mu care ug tan-aw. so keep checking for jobs.
* if you have reached your job quota, try deleting other job applications nga you think lisod for you to do and the least you are likely to get hired, then you have a free slot and will be able to apply for another job opening.
* also, take test that you think is helpful to the profile you projected but do not make your test results "public" when you get a very low score. Retake if possible.

That is all I can think of for now. That tips are good for beginners.

i agree with 7thheaven..also, get some ideas from the odesk forum..read and learn lang jud..it also helps if maconvince nimo ang buyer that you are the best candidate for the job through your letter..

dugay na ko sige think nga maghimo account ani ODESK pero until now wala pa jud. wala na man gud ko PC sa hauz then naa pa jud ko fulltime job, sayang kay nahan ko ani basta restday nako

I discovered Odesk here in istorya thru 7th heaven last Feb. Just lucky, I am now close to 700 hours in odesk. mka tabang2x jud sa budget
