like mother like son. he never learn from his mother's mistake in granting amnesty. remember his mother gave amnesty to joma sison and his minions but still they choose to go back to their old cause. maybe he will give amnesty to all prisoners to save money for keeping jails. im glad i didnt voted for this WUSS

Mao na! Botar man gud mo ni PNoy...

    PNOY, WAY BUOT! Dictador!

He doesn't like anything associated with Arroyo. Hegranted amnesty to Trillanes only because he was anti-Arroyo. Tiaw mo. ipromulgate pa gud ang kaso ni Trillanes na-amnesty na. Patay ta ani.

That is why he doesn't love CEBU also because we were dubbed ARROYO country.

Come on guys... We've been granting amnesty to NPA rebels, MILF fighters, RAM, and political figures, so why not give amnesty to trillanes and magdalo? Besides, they're more worthy of receiving amnesty coz they have a more valid cause, mali lang talaga yung paraan nila. One thing for sure, they have the support in the majority of the public.

You said it there. PNoy is showing the military that it's ok to rebel against the president as long as it is for a good cause. If it was for a good cause then they should have done it in a GOOD way and not against the law.

A positive multiplied with a negative will still give you a negative. Even a positive plus a bigger negative will still give you a negative answer.

Pardon should have been the better option, or it is the lesser evil..but still it's evil, so it's not an option..

    first, i.differentiate nato ang:

Pardon - forgiveness of a crime, lessening of the penalty of the crime without forgiving the crime itself.

Amnesty - restores those who may have been guilty of an offense against it to the positions of innocent people. It includes more than pardon.

    Why Erap was give pardon?

Kay he is 70 years old, he withdrew all his motion for reconsiderations, his mother is dying and it was recommended to GMA by the DOJ

    Why Magdalo was given amnesty?

The best reason that is very clear to me is, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend". Dumot ni ato bai?!

so you're saying it's ok to stage a coup de etat just because? you can never resolve evil with another evil.

Do you even know why those rapists were released? because they were too old to be in jail (70yrs old and above), it is lawful that they be released with proper recommendations from the DOJ and review of their cases and those were pardons, not amnesty.
