I would like to share our experience with Bubble Bee Tea House. My intention of writing this is not to backlash the company, but rather to inform others so that they will not have the same mistake as we did.

My sister celebrated her sweet 16 bday at their main branch. The person who booked us informed us that a band was going to perform on a Saturday night and we could have the whole second floor exclusive for the party, if we reached a certain number of guests. Having this arrangement, we thought it was a great deal. The day before the party, we settled for the down payment and was given the news that the band will be transferred. They will no longer be playing upstairs but outside and gave us the reason that the area was too small. If this was indeed their reason why they transferred the band outside then why did they ask for an additional payment if we wanted the band upstairs in the second floor? The party was book for 6-10pm and the band will be playing 8-12pm. We opted not to pay for the additional payment for the band because we find it such an unreasonable price for just 2 hours. We had everything budgeted already, and it was a good thing we hired a stand up comedian to host the party. We were also disappointed to know that instead of having the whole second flr, we were told to occupy only half of the area even with the number of guests.. We felt tricked and mislead with all the information they had given us during our first meeting. If we only had ample time, and if the guests were not yet informed we would have chosen another venue for the party. We had no choice and the person who booked us promised that she will make up for this and be there to assist us with our needs for the party. On the day of the party, we found out that she was on sick leave. What a coincidence! Nobody even assisted Ms. Jo from LUFT balloons to put up the balloon decorations. I understand that this is not part of their job, but at least they could have been helpful, they could have done something to make up for the inconvenience of the "new agreement". The disappointment did not just stop there, the food serving was too small. If we ordered for 40 heads, it seemed as if the food was good only for 20-25 heads. We had to order another batch because we ran out of food. Now imagine the embarrassment! I know Filipinos have an appetite, but as I've mentioned this was a sweet 16 party so majority of the guests were female teenagers who are either diet conscious or naturally have a small appetite. If I would rate the food, I'd give it 2 stars out of 5. There was nothing special with the food, it was not delicious, it wasn't that bad either, it was just ok. To summarize everything, if you are looking for a place to host ur party and where food is your top priority then better think twice. On the brighter side of things, the girls loved the place. The ambiance and setting is wonderful and cozy which is perfect for hanging out with ur friends.

All of my guests did not know that such place existed, and this was a great opportunity for them to advertise and promote BBT. They should have been grateful that we had chosen them for our party venue, but instead they were not accommodating. They have poor customer service and showed poor business skills.

The location of the place is inconvenient, it's difficult to locate - a lot of my guests got lost. It's a good thing they have their own vehicles. (btw there are no jeepneys in this area, and doesn't seem like a safe place to be taking a cab ride at night)

Lesson learned...If you're just looking for a place to chill and hang out this it, but with my experience, I will not be having another party here and I will not be recommending this place to my friends for a party venue.
