Congrats Ateneo, double three-peat. Not to take anything away from the Blue Eagles but the Tams just did not show up in the Finals. They were visibly hesitant and in disarray. Glen Capacio was not on the bench after the 2nd half kay ni-taas daw pag ayo ang blood pressure. That's how pressured he was I guess, and it bore down on his players. MVP RR Garcia was held to 6 points, ROY Terrence Romeo also did not produce, and even fouled out almost midway through the 4th. Grabe si Buenafe oi, he can take Noli Locsin's "The Tank" moniker. He reminded us that even if his rookie year-batchmate Salva has taken over as the most popular Blue Eagle, he's still the better player.

I'm surprised the FEU side of Araneta wasn't all upset. They were laughing and you could hear them say "At least hindi tambak". I guess they had a feeling that #1 seed notwithstanding, this was not going to be their year.
