Default ABSOLUTE FREEDOM? meron bang ganyan?

MEDIA : they like to talk about Freedom of speech , Freedom of information! , and Freedom of Expression..Kailangan paman diay eh apil ang dili na unta apilon!

Take for example Manila hostage crisis : they've aired every details from how many bullets hit the bus , what exact positions in the bus were some hostages got hit. From the guns the police were carrying and the exact postion were the police started theyre assault! ..but they cannot even air those who died in the service of their country , soldiers spilled their blood in Mindanao , local police sacrificed his own life to save a student from getting kidnapped. Where are the media to cover those stories?

The media ganahan mohimo og balita about corruption! they even investigate about it . Kung unxa ila ipabalita sa radyo , tv , or newspapers. mao man pd nah ato tando-on ..sakay nalang ta permi sa ilang mga balita , nag hearing pa gani sa korte, ang media kahibaw na kinxa ang mga suspects.. speculations leads to another speculations ila tirada para more news , more airtime , bigger reputation , bigger paychecks!!

The media can even change the person's reputation. kung ang media mo gama ug balita specifically para nimo . mao nana mo tatak sa huna2x sa tao! example ani ...about atong scandal doctor og tv aritst , a prominent doctor got screwed up (gaba ra pd nia!) , gibawi iya License to practice ug na tatak na sa huna2x sa mga tao nga Manyak to xa . astang mga bata nakasabot na ug scandal tungod ato. Media covered that story.

Some mediamen even think that working on their stories is more important than their life or other peoples lives!. Mao cguro taas pod tag death rate sa media ( a foreign organization said that RP is not safe for media)..kay Daghan man tag media Daredevils!.. kato sa Manila hostage crisis : Every angles were aired on that story, mas taas pag accuracy rate ang media snipers kaysa police snipers ato! they said wala sila nagpalabas ug mga sensitive info during the ongoing crisis..but the hell .I think we all saw the action right? Even me .if ako ang gunman ato dako ayog tabang ang media ato oi , laliman bag sa tv ra matan-aw nimo unxay nahitabo sa gawas.

SOME media folks will not allow a bill to be passed on in Congress , kay against daw sa atong CONSTITUTION kay ma limita ilang freedom of speech or Freedom of information daw..!!! the hell with you those media people! you are only referring on your rights. ur forgetting about Moral values , your DUTY as a good citizens in this Country ( why are you covering issues that will even damage our countries reputation?). they say RP is a corrupt country , the people did not said that , Ang media man..
Ethical values for reporting??asa mana nga value atong hostage crisis? People blamed the police kay EPIC faiilure jud ilang rescue attempt.Sila ra diay ang eh blame ato?hugas kamay lang ta ani..!

I still remeber completely what my PolSci 1 teacher had taught me ..There is no freedom if you will use it to take away somebody else's 'freedom!! THERE IS NO ABSOLUTE FREEDOM!

Kani ako .Pessimistic view rani , i decided to published it this way kay para ma huwasan ko sa akong huna2x ..hehe..if you feel ur offended about this feel free to email ur hatemail @ lithardcore@yahoo.com.

My personal conclusion? DONT MESS WITH THE MEDIA!

you can discuss/argue about it ..its ur opinion ..but respect lang po.be RATIONAL lang ..

Somebody on the web posted this paragraph a few months ago, and i quote:

"What is absolute freedom? If one defines it as the ability to make a choice and act on it completely detached from the input, control, or otherwise influence of persons or society then, no, absolute freedom is an unattainable goal. A height that will never be reached. For as long as there are people there will be influence. Whether directly or indirectly you will find yourself constantly influenced by others. Not only can we not escape influence, but we also cannot escape control."
