Yeah, go buy a book! There is nothing wrong with which school you go to or what course you're taking up... it's what happens next after you graduate that matters!

Learning stage (in the making of a potential designer or developer) is fun and exciting, but once you get out of that stage, its a jungle out there. So apply everything you learn and make the best of it. That's why most of us designers and developers never quit studying or learning. It makes our lives less harsh.
