it's one and the same. 4G or 4 refers to the 4th generation in the iphone line. not necessarily related to 4G in telecom standards.

ay sorry, didn't mean to sound so stern hehehe. yes it's not related in any way to 4G. Although 4G has started rolling out in europe. a friend of mine was in a series of conventions in europe last month and 4G (LTE) was already present in Lithuania.
