I think that LeBron's hasty transfer to the Heat was pretty reckless to say the least, and outright selfish to the point of disregarding the fact that the entire city of Cleveland was pinning all their hopes on him to bring the NBA trophy to the city.

I guess he is still not mature enough to grasp this.

He needs to learn to win without deserting his team mates and the city who fed him for 5 years. He comes off as someone who does not have honor or loyalty.

    I don't blame him, though:

By all accounts, James did not have an easy upbringing. His mother switched jobs and houses often. By the time James was five years old, they had moved seven times. Due to the unstable environment, he missed large stretches of elementary school and spent two years living with a foster family. The most stable male influence in the athlete’s life as a child was his mother’s boyfriend, Eddie Jackson, who James sometimes refers to as his father. However, Jackson did not always set a good example: In 2002, he was sentenced to three years in prison for mail and mortgage fraud.

I guess what you guys don't really get is he was the SUPERSTAR of that Cleveland team. People depend on him to deliver the goods at crunch time! He was supposed to be the LEADER and the INSPIRATION to his team mates. When times got rough he was supposed to put on his cape and carry the entire Cleveland team to the win. He is supposed to be the one carrying the Team Flag -- kung makakita ka niya anywhere what should snap into your mind is that "he is the star for the Cavaliers" ... and not say "asa na gani ni siya na Team karon? sige na man lang ni siya balhin²".

He also enjoyed being the superstar and loved the attention and accolades (read: money) that people poured his way. As such, without being said, he also accepted certain responsibilities to his team, his coach, and the city. He should be the main force that the Team owners build on...

But unless you have been watching the NBA closely for the last 20 years then it's pointless discussing over this. You will simply not get it.

    Thanks. I'm done here.
