depends on the difference bro, But i recommend you get the 3800X2 instead. 10,500 ang fair retail price ana as of date anything above it is a rip-off.
for me when i buy a CPU or something else i also consider the overclocking value of the hardware, since your considerng the singlecore 512kb version then id recommend you go for its lowest model or the best price/performance ratio model. for the 1mb l2 its the 3700+ for the dual core 512kbx2 its the 3800X2 for the 1mbx2 4400X2
and i do understand not everyone is into overclocking.

EarlZ: I dont say that nvidia wudnt provide chipsets for AMD CPUs. But of course the advantage is on ATI side since they now belong to AMD. and they will share architectures which will be a huge advantage, theres a little doubt that ATI will be soon the superior chipset for AMD processors

Karon mo speculate sad ko wla pud ni kasigurado-an, what about AMDTI vs IntelNvidia, where in Nforce will be the flagship of intel, impossible huna huna-on pero duna pud nay chance, just like what happen to AMD and ATI.

nvidia will be at a larger loss if they choose to drop support for AMD.

is there really a big difference in terms of performance between Athlon 64 3200+ and 3500+? i see that the price difference is around 700 so is it worth getting the higher speed for 700 more? also which is the better motherboard for this, Asrock 939NF4G-VSTA or EPOX 9GF6100-M. both motherboards support AM2 and have onboard geforce 6100. any inputs and additional recommendations for a good motherboard for either 3200+ or 3500+?
