Graphics Card Inquiry - Please Advise

I have a AGP version 2.0 port that supports 1x/2x/4x AGP Data Transfer. This is a Pentium 4 motherboard.

Question:
1. If i buy a graphics card that is AGP 8x, will it support also 4x AGP Data Transfer?
2. My motherboard is cased in a mATX casing, will the physical size of the graphics card be accomodated? (specially the height of the card)

For your recommendation and advise, please.

the vid card will support it, but it's capability will not be maximzed since your board only supports up to 4x.
IMHO, it's not worth buying.

if your mobo has a PCI-E slot, go for PCI-E vid cards instead.

your motherboard will support if considering it delivers the same amount of volts to the port.
8x cards have ZERO, i repeat ZERO difference from 4x cards in both speed and performance theres practically NO loss in it.
