sir are you using third party ocx in ur apps? how long was the making?

I have a payroll system, pero it is out of my hands.... hehehehe but I can make a simple payroll system in just a week. using plain MS Access and VB6.

mga bro kinsay naka himo na og complete payroll system ninyo using VB 6.0 dra i really needs input like lead time, was it very complicated or something got on your way as u go coding. Where gonna be creating one sooner but its my first time i have created several system already excluding a payroll system any infos are much appreciated

you need to have tables for

employees
deduction tables
schedules (dtr)
pay cycle (actual payroll transaction)

in a nutshell bro, your employee file/table will hold info of your employees, name, position, salary and the likes, deduction tables as the name implies will hold your deductions like SSS, philhealth..., schedules or dtr are the time in and out of your employees and the pay cycle will hold the payroll per cycle or per processing time.

i would recommend a database approach in creating your payroll system, that way by simply establishing your appropriate relationship of your entities/tables then you will have minimal programming to generate your reports or populate your transaction tables. hope youll be able to take it from here
