fraternities should only recruit active college students.

i am a staunch antagonist of community-based chapters. the past has passed, we cannot do anything about that but to make concrete efforts of correcting it. i believe continuing community chapters has no "real" purpose but a possible breeding ground of scalawag members even cult followers if you may.

clean up the ranks, accept the existing community-based members, re-orient, reform, move on and abolish community-based chapters.

it does not make sense when a college student will join community chapters. gusto ra na ug barkadahan, ka-inom ug ka-suyop ug tropa sa pahawod-hawod.

highschools should not be in fraternities. out-of-school youths should not be in fraternities. individuals who already graduated college should not be recruited in fraternities, let them join the rotary, jaycess, kiwanis instead kung gusto ra nila ug pabagets-bagets nga mga ka-inom. daghan ra ba tiguwang nga nabiya-an sa panahon, unya mag apil2x dayon mura ug fans' club bah. if you are no longer in the campus there really is no point in joining a college greek letter institution.

good luck to AKP with their current predicament and i hope they will do immediate and comprehensive damage control so that this will not backlash in Cebu and the peace efforts will not be in vain because a backlash is very imminent considering that a Cebu Skeptron was dragged in this national issue.
