How to install windows xp on laptop without cdrom..

remove the HD encase it with an external casing for laptop HDs , format as a bootable drive copy the entire contents of windows XP into it.
then boot up and run setup.exe.

mga bros, help me pls...naguba ang cd rom sa ako sony vaio nga laptop, dn i need to install fresh xp ky nagka-virus na ang recent OS nako.how can i install xp without cdrom sa ako laptop..ok pa iya floppy..can u give me the easiest way like network boot or floppy boot..wala man gud g-detect sa ako BIOS ang external drive like USB..my HDD is empty ryt now..any useful tip wud be much appreciated..tanx and more power...

Try to use ISO software.. its an image application.. i think you can find it at www.download.com just type ISO or ISO software.

problem solve bros: heres what i did..al ur ideas are used..salamat kaau..

I placed my laptop HDD into a mobile HDD enclosure..connect it to my desktop and copy the I386 files from a windows xp installer to a FAT32 format C: drive of my laptop HDD..then i made a bootable floppy disk and copy a smartdrive.exe files..after, i placed back my HDD to the laptop..booting from my floppy disk and run smartdrv.exe..go to c:\ drive, install winnt.exe then every went smooth as silk...heheheh..thanks guys. :mrgreen:

remove your hdd from your laptop. put it on another computer. copy the entire i386 folder from a winxp disc. then have a bootable dos disk and run smartdrive. then run winnt.exe to start the installation.

bai , pag gamit lang ug external cord naa na xa sa fastwin napalit tag 450 for cd rom.
mao nay gamita sa pag install sa pc.. mao nay gamit nako f mag install ko kai ang laptop nako la may cd rom support.......
