UITF - investment arm/division/dept of a BANK (unit investment / trust fund (?) - sakto ko sa abbrev?)

MF - mutual fund - separate entity from a bank but some may have associations with banks...

the best time?? there is no best time kay dili man ka maka-tag-an. you just have to DO IT... or basically start an investment... one way to do it is to match your investment to a financial goal (let's say retirement??)... That way, you'll have a timeline; you can measure your progress w/ respect to your investment vs your goal; and you don't have to worry about the ups and downs in the short term. You only take out your investment during your deadline (Robert Kiyosaki refers to this deadline as an exit strategy)...

The best time is when depressed ang prices, like mga 2 years ago during the financial crisis. But this is easier said than done, imagine investing money at a time when companies were failing left and right.

this sums it all up. it doesnt matter if the market is up or down as long as your in for long term(at least 10 years) then mo gain jud ka.

but if you want fast money, try stocks but easy come easy go sad.if you dont take time to study.

MF and UITF are market driven. If the market is trending up then its time to buy when it started to dip then its time to sell. In other words there is timing. Right now, you buy! Buy all equity dirven instrument. Like a stock trader we sell our stocks when the market turns sour to retain our capital gains, in MF we convert them to bonds to retain our NAV. I am not sure about UITF, if it doesnt have a safe haven then don't invest in them.

The very very very best time to invest was last last year, during the time that I convinced a lot of people in this thread to invest in mutual funds and do business that is for long term but, puro lang negative ang mga gi pag bato sa IMG. hahahay! Tanaw ang market ron subra pa sa double your money, hehehehe!

Lessons Learned : A person who have strong at heart and mind, survives and prevails. If just that person just have a vision during the Financial Crises, we could already buy what he want today. But sad to say a lot of us doesn't have a vision in becoming big.

that's the thing, we can only tell the best time to invest in hindsight... unsaon nalang tong mga wala naka-apil pag 2008?? so, still, just do it... you can still take advantage of the market whether naa kay crystal ball or wala... again, invest to match your financial goal...
