kung atong i-reverse, FAITH ra na sa tawo nga maluwas siya. Nagtuo ang tawo nga maluwas siya tungod sa iyang pagtuo. Pero there's no assurance nga maluwas gyod. Positively, there would be strong/extreme happiness and satisfaction in oneself if they have FAITH and do GOOD rather than doing GOOD only and have no FAITH.

People's mind is so powerful. FAITH conditions the mind to become more powerful. Somebody would say, have faith in your heart....faith can move mountains. So, whatever is your faith, make it strong, you may move a mountain.

The church can be audited by a private sector company like SGV in coordination with NGO's and other watchdog agencies.

Some (not all) Churches are using the Separation between Church and state as an excuse to hide their financial activities...

All we are asking for is transparency so everyone will know what really goes on behind the scenes sa church.

Malay mo, if people realize the civic works the church is doing, mas mu saka ang collection... rather than people just trusting that their money will help the poor and needy.

That further reinforces the point... if this can be done in small parishes.. why can't we do thesame for the big ones?

What is wrong with finding out where the Church money goes anyway? THe only people who would be opposed to this would be church people who are corrupt because they don't want people to find out where the money was spent.

In the case of the Catholic Chuch, there needs to be transparency as to how much is being collected, spent locally, saved and remitted to the Vatican. The data has to be posted online for everyone to see so that in transparency, there would be less corruption and money donated would be allocated properly.

If the Church argues that it is spending the money properly, then it will not hurt them that people find out how as there are too many cases of donations / contributions being used to fund Priests' families, settle child abuse cases and make extravagant transactions.

This is probably the Church's worst nightmare.. and I will praise the first lawmaker to propose this bill.

We all know the Church's stand against jueteng is because this form of gambling at the masa level takes away collection money from the church. Why does the church not protest against gambling for the rich in Casinos but is so vehement about stopping gambling at the barangay level....

The SHort and simple answer is.... ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY Baby...
sakto gyud...money is root cause of evil...

watch nalang mo 'zeitgeist' na movie if gnhan gyud mo mwagtangan pagtuo sa inyu tinuhuan...mau ni sa wla pa ka kita ani na movie...all controversys about church ug about money sa kalibutan...

wa koy sala mawgtangan mo pagtuo...hehe

    how about if I say...

"I don't need faith to feel good about myself when I do good to others"

For me... even Atheists have Faith... albeit not in the same religious context.
