i dont think money per se is evil, and i dont think the church and religious orgs making money is necessarily bad either. it depends on how they are spending it, which is why i said transparency in all their transactions is the best assurance to their donors that the money is being spent for good deeds and not, as is often the case, for the enjoyment of the leaders. money itself is just a tool.
