Yes that is your perception, but as I said before the problem is not what you think of the term revert, it is the offense it creates in the minds of other people. This is what I mean when I say one must be sensitive to how other feel and not only focus on their side of the story. The term revert, no matter how you explain it, is insulting to other religions because it puts muslims above all other people.

Sorry bro, but that is not how we perceived it to be. By calling ourselves as "Muslim Reverts" or "Balik-Islam" that to us does not demean other religions, as I've said we are just claiming our natural birthright, no more no less.I respect your opinion no matter how you perceived it to be.

Islam should nt be judged.. so as Muslims.. they consider us brothers of the book.. their religion and practices are good..

Islam as a religion adheres tolerance and peace. It is a good religion just like any other religions in the world. However, Muslims like any other people (Christians, Buddhists or pagans and etc. ) have the capacity to use religion for their self-serving interests. The sad thing lang pud is i.label man gud as "muslims" kung naay terrorist attacks nga ma.happen for example. However, kung ang America ( Christian-dominated country) mu.attack sa Iraq or Iran di man muana nga the "Christians" once again attacked Iraq causing great damage to the properties and lives of many Iraqis.. diba?

I believe we shouldn't generalise pud kay kung sa Phils lang, daghan baya mga criminals nga mga Christians..

Daghan Killers nga Christians but wala na sila nipatay in the name of their religion. Pero sa Islam side, ang uban mga dautan nga religious liders nila gigamit ang religion para sa terrorism, mao nah reason nga ma label nga MUSLIMS ang mga terrorist kay they kill people because of religious beliefs.
