If they have nothing to hide, then all transactions should be made available to the congregation, if not the public at large since the tax-exemption status of churches is a matter of public interest. Are they really being spent to help people or to make the priests rich?
I think all non-profit organizations and institutions should be required to open their books to public scrutiny in order to retain tax-free status, as their tax-exemption is a privilege, not a right, granted by the state for the ostensible purpose of helping society at large. Whether or not society really is being benefited by these organizations, and not merely the leaders of the organizations, can be determined by subjecting their accounts to public scrutiny.

Unsa pa man nga source imo gusto? Murag wakwak ba, bisan ga tangag mo ingon gihapon ug waaaaaaaa...
Bro, you have an issue with the "priests of San Carlos" ... why not solve it by asking them? Are they professors of the university? are they not paid for the courses taught? If it is their money, not your money nor people's money, then they have the discretion to use it according to their consciences? Now, are they giving a good example by living an extravagant lifestyle? That is the question they have to answer before God when they die, and to you when you will ask them too! Well, why generalize it with the church then?
As regards auditing the church funds, well, I think they have an internal auditor and their receipts are all submitted to and checked by the BIR. You can always ask your BIR people if this is true or even make friends (you know, friendship builds trust .. and can open closed doors and windows) with your parish priest and then ask him about the administration of the parish money, to have an idea. If you have a hard evidence of parish funds used otherwise, then you have the right to question: if you are donating to your church. Be sure to present your donation receipts though.
I think you know what is meant by money laundering.
