When you say "Spoelstra isn't gonna coach the team" ... you're implying that he's not going to be the coach of the Heat this coming preseaon/season because of your pathetic delusion that Pat will take over for the reason that "he's into this" ... Pffffttt!!!!

FYI, Stan Van Gundy resigned as a head coach on Dec. 12, 2005. So he coached the team for 21 games in 2005-06 season. [1] [2]

Maybe Spoelstra will resign or get fired after few games but saying "he's not gonna coach the team" is BS. Who would fire a coach FEW DAYS before training camp?? THIIIINNNKKK!!!!!
oh gosh.. did u interpret the "isn't gonna coach the team" as in karon dayon? or before sa training camp? oh come on nasubraan raka sa ka bright buddy!!! i never did say anything na karon dayon mupuli si pat..

pathetic delusion? oh its just a feeling buddy no need to take it seriously.. and so what if Pat is gonna coach the heat? are you affected? look what happened when riley took over as a coach? the heat eventually became the champs..

oh i forgot you hate the trio so why are you so into this? hahahahahahahahahahaha am i the only one who didnt believed coach stan resigned due to family reasons? who in their right mind would leave the team who has all the tools to reach the gold? and why are we hearing negative words from stan if he wasnt forced out now go figure....

Mao na agree ko sa suggestion ni Billups nga i-revise ang voting policy sa All Stars.

Fans hate LeBron for being disloyal, selfish, famewhore.

    Unsa pod diay kang Kobe?
yeah, agree dapat ichange nila unsaon pagpili sa all-star.

McGrady and Iverson almost made it sa All star, even without hardly playing any games.

We all know ngano naay dili ganahan kay Kobe, I think naa man thread ana diri. Ang mga reasons dikto mao jud to.

Iverson was indeed an allstar last year. They should have a rule na a player must have played 80% of the games leading up to the all star game to be eligible.

Kobe and Lebron are two great players. It's just that lebron is more valuable to the cavs than kobe is to the lakers. I mean, dont get me wrong, the lakers wont win a championship without him but they surely will still be a team to beat in the west with gasol, artest and odom. While, cleveland will be? just wait and look at them when season starts.

Lebron's move was acceptable. How he did it was not. he was throwing gasoline at an open fire. well, he's not famous coz he's smart right? Let's get over that.

In the history of the Nba. Nobody ever sacrificed money to play together in their prime. We have bosh, wade and lebron to thank for that. It's like watching an allstar game every game. And for that, i commend them.

    Heat Undecided about Starters
    Courtesy: Miami Herald

Erik Spoelstra indicated on Friday that LeBron James will play point guard at times for the Heat, but he is not set on who will start.

Dwyane Wade has said Mario Chalmers is the starting point guard, but Spoelstra will consider options in addition to Chalmers, including Carlos Arroyo, who finished last season as the starter. James, Wade and Chris Bosh are the only set starters.

" I do want to make a point of being open minded going into camp,'' Spoelstra said. "LeBron and Dwyane will be handling the ball quite often. Mario and Carlos will be handling the ball quite often. Mike Miller has a great skill set to be able to handle the ball. Whether LeBron starts [at point guard] or not, is not a high priority right now. I want to get into training camp and get a better feel for this team.''

Spoelstra is one lucky s.o.b... You don't need a good coach for a team like this. just someone to check the egos before they enter the room.

    2010-2011 NBA Preview: MVP Candidates
    courtesy: msn.foxsports

    1. LeBron James--Fine, call him a jerk for the way he's acted this summer. If you want to, call him a choker or a quitter in the playoffs. Just don't deny that LeBron has been by far the league's most dominant player in each of the past two regular seasons. At the age of 25, he should just be entering his prime. The only real question is whether he'll put up MVP numbers as part of a so-called superteam. But if he's the best player on the team with the best record, like he has been the past two years and should be again in Miami, it will be hard to justify giving the MVP to anyone else.

    2. Kevin Durant-- At the age of 21, Durant became the league's youngest scoring champion and finished second in MVP voting. So what can we expect at 22? Well, judging from his play for Team USA, he appears to be a little stronger and maybe a little taller -- some reports say he's closer to 6-11 than his listed 6-9 -- which should make him even more of a scoring machine, not to mention a better defender. He's also undeniably "The Man" for the Thunder, while Miami's stars may split MVP votes. Moreover, with his humble demeanor, he's universally liked by fans and voters, which helps if the award turns into a popularity contest. Yes, that happens sometimes.

    3. Kobe Bryant-- It's hard to believe Kobe has won just one MVP award in his 14-year NBA career. And at the age of 32, he's not likely to win another. Has he regressed? No. In fact, he may still be the league's most skilled player, most ferocious competitor and best clutch shooter. But with his laundry list of injuries, including a now-arthritic finger and multiple knee surgeries, Kobe needs to pace himself and make sure he's fit for the playoffs. If that costs him a shot at the regular-season MVP but allows him to be Finals MVP for the third straight year, he'll surely be fine with that.

    4. Dwight Howard-- If half the game is defense, Howard is halfway to winning an MVP award. The league's defensive player of the year the past two seasons, he's likely to keep that honor as long as he remains the NBA's best rebounder and shot-blocker. The key, then, is diversifying an offensive game that relies too much on dunks and right-handed baby hooks. After averaging just 10 shots per game last season, he first needs to prove he deserves the ball more often. Then his teammates (yes, you, Vince Carter) have to give it to him.

    5. Dwayne Wade-- Wade led the NBA in scoring two seasons ago but finished third in MVP voting. Last season he was sensational again, yet four players received more votes. The problem? The Heat weren't good enough to be contenders, and the MVP almost always comes from one of the top teams. That shouldn't be a problem this year, with Miami a good bet to finish with the league's best record. But to earn the top individual honor, Wade will need to show he's better (or at least more valuable in voters' eyes) than his new celebrity teammate (LeBron, not Mickey Mouse). Depending on how their roles evolve, that's possible but not too likely.
