How will i know if my computer is affected by a spyware???

orange, you know when your PC starts acting funny, slow start up and it usually slows down your internet connection too... I agree everybody's suggestions to use spyware remover or if you have some time, reformat your HDD and load fresh Operating System on it...

thanks for all the info... ill just download a free trial of spyware remover, coz pop-ups are so annoying.. i usually get those telling me that my comp is affected by a spyware... some sort of advertisement.

you can also notice it when you open your browser it has a different home page, not the one you set.

Beware of ANTI SPYWARE softwares that suddenly pops up while you are browsing the net.

you might wanna try spy sweeper.. its better than adware remover and spybot ( based on my test )
