Mike has been the driving force and the leader of the band for 25 years...
He overlooks EVERYTHING for the band asides the drums: musical direction, lyricist, producing albums and the live DVDs, managing the band, making set lists for shows (which are painstakingly made to have different songs for every night and venue), makes and arranges bootlegs/documentaries and usually brings the fans closer to the band being the band's spokesperson and for the most part major decision maker.

As a big fan of the band, I will miss his contribution to DT.
I'm just curious of what direction the portnoyless-DT will take, especially musically,
and who will fill up his giant shoes?

Usa baya unta sa akong life long goals is to see them live, I guess I have to live with the fact I might see them without their original drummer. =(
