We just had our wedding at golden prince hotel. Service-wise and budget wise... we had no regrets. A budget of 120k is really more than enough (which was how much we spent all in all -- including paperwork, church fees, gowns and rings).

    Our feedback:

    • food for 100 (the main course and the desserts were good but the wedding cake had sugar lumps... wine was okay... free pod)
    • video and photo coverage (nice direction and editing... we were very satisfied with the output)
    • invitation cards (varied selection, good quality)
    • souvenirs (to put it bluntly... not memorable but passable)
    • transpo (the chauffeurs were polite but you need to remind the hotel when to pick you up)
    • floral arrangement (we weren't so happy with the florist and her flowers. on the upside, church decor and flowers for the entire entourage were free... so di ra kaayo sakit sa buot )
    • complimentary rooms for dressing up

    Advantages:
    • package includes video, photos, bridal transpo (and van), cake and church decoration already - you do the math if you get separate suppliers
    • good food (serving size, taste, presentation, variety)
    • good location, easy to spot
    • nice service before and after the wedding

    Disadvantages:
    • additional electricity charge if you will hire a band to play at your reception or use an LCD projector
    • small space (elevator comfortably accommodates 4 people lang... function hall is tight for more than 100 guests... rooms are also small)
    • early check-in is not guaranteed, unlike in other hotels where you are given extra consideration

We opted to avail of the package because we're to busy and didn't want to find our own suppliers (kalas oras, plete and kaon).

bitaw, dili man jud kinahanglan ang bongga nga kasal.

OT: Diplomat Hotel includes wedding rings already in the package. It was supposed to be one of our top choices for the reception venue, but we changed our mind after we met the staff because they could not give us straight answers to our very simple questions.

Murag newbies tong nag entertain namo. The package inclusions were very good though (rings, church decor included). Kulang lang sila ug coordination and reliability, which, to us, are very important.

    @SioDenz: welcome, bro

ako amigo. 50-60k ra ang gasto.. sulit na... basta dili lang mo choosy. after all its the life after the wedding that matters not the day. magunsa mana bongga na kasal nya dili magdugay kai magcge away nya gubot ang familly... i suggest have a decent wedding and save for the rainy days....
