this shoot was done in a vacant room at Ayala FGU whom some photogs set up a mini studio... i'm using my 17-85mm for most of the shots though some are done using a 50mm f1.8..

Q: gagamit mo ug lens hood sa inyong 1000D nya ang lens ky tong 18-55mm? ky naa manug-abot na petal hood and im not sure if i can use it. or if i can, okay ra ba outcome? or naa bay mga disadvantages?

A lens hood is quite useful for shooting out in the sun. Keeps down lens flare, loss of contrast, etc due to stray light. Im planning to buy one at Jtech Trading JY Square mall/Pixel pro at Parkmall. It will cost 450-500php.

lens hood does help especially for preventing glares but i'm not sure about petal hood for the kit lens kay mo-tuyok baya ang lens when focusing... mao sad na reason na dili advisable butangan ang kit lens ug CPL kay tungod motuyok siya... pero sa imo pangutana bro na gamit bah? it does help...

...and i got my lens hood sa kit lens last january didto sa pixel pro (parkmall)..

thanks mga bro. excited nako muabot to. kita btaw ko sa Jtech. round ilang hood. ang petal ky for 50mm.
