    mao sad jud noon bro...

pero we as motorists, naa pud tay obligation sa society to raise such awareness... Kay atong LTO pasagdan... Magsige lang pud panakop...

And worst part is, they do not ask themselves ngano daghan sila madakpan... That only means, that they are not trying to root out the problem. Day by day, naa gihapoy ma-accidente due to drunk driving, naa gihapoy mga disgrasya tungod sa pagka irresponsable. Ang angay ana nila, i-revoke dayon ang licensya... They are in the best position to raise such awareness, and yet some of them, padako lang tiyan... Pwere na lang sa mga maayo LTO operatives, I know someone from them nga di-prinsipyo motrabaho, and until now, still the same Juan dela Cruz 20 yrs. ago, still relies on loans to let his son (a friend of mine) attend college.

And yet, wala jud natagaan any recognition from their office... Tsk3x....

The stopping distance will depend on the SPEED of your vehicle bai.
If that guide is too much for you to comprehend then you can laugh all you can.
and it's just a guide no one will force you comply and if that site is not applicable for you then its not for you.

I don't know which part of my posts bothers you.
I only shared my experience same as the TS thus i know how he feels.
I only shared my thoughts that each motorist should maintain the proper stopping distance when driving
because we do not know what is ahead of us and how quick we are to react to the situation.
I also drive motorcycles for over 25 yrs now but been careful if not just lucky.

Now with your sarcasm of stopping abrupty INTENTIONALLY if you notice a Nissan California following you,
    What does it makes you?

amen brad. I'm an mc rider pud, pero safe. Ako lang, permi ko habit saghiran, coz I don't run fast. I had a terrible accident ganina Lang with a very careless mc. They were carrying 2 sacks of rice an he had a helper. Nahibulong man ko ngano ni wabble sila, mga 50 meters so ni menor ko, suddenly nilayat ang ga backride of gi suit ko niya as I was applying my brake, tumba hinoon ko. Maayo Kay wa ko naunsa. Motor naa gamay. When I approached the 2 reckless mc riders, hilas kaayo ang driver Kay ngano daw ask ko where sila ga work, gisapot hinoon ko. Maayo gani Kay sige pangayo pasaylo ang nagduot nako. Tawag ta ko pulis og wa pako nalooy. Di gyud siguro maayo palapason sa mga traffic enforcers kaning mga overloading mc. If it hit a car na sala gyud to nasad sa awto.

That stopping distance guide is good and useful, BUT we are in the Philippines bai. Most motorist here can't even keep a 1 car distance apart.

Yes, maintaining a proper stopping distance is a must jud unta. But in reality, seldom or no one would follow that proper stopping distance here in the city.
What i noticed in your post is that, It seems you put the entire fault to the motorcycle riders who bump you from behind, and obviously they're not drunk, unlike what the TS have experienced. unya mo ingon paka nga wala silay proper stopping distance sa imong car. ug wala silay katungod moreklamo kung imong ikalit ug brake imong car. wala ka naluoy sa nag sunod nimo nga kung dili tungod sa imong sudden stop dili sila ma ingato? You know, that scenario could happen in both cars and motorcycles. walay maayong laki anang kalitan ka ug full stop sa imong atubangan..

Your experience and the TS experience are NOT the same.
The TS was bump by a speeding, crazy, drunk riders. (dapat lang jud sila pabayaron sa damage)
While in your case, those 2 motorcycle riders were not drunk, it's only because of your sudden stop. (ayaw intawn sila ingna nga reckless sila or walay proper distance nimo)

And you think i would do that for real?

My point is, its hard to avoid a vehicle who will suddenly stop in front of you.
