What is a Real Photographer for me?

cguro those people na do love talking photos db... and even how busy u are u always have tym to click ur SLR ... u dont need an expnsive cam to be a photographer, u just need to be happy on wat ur doing.. taking pictures..

btw just my own cent rana.nyhahaha btw i dont even consider my self as a photographer...

I am a photographer because I am what a photographer is to me. A good one? Now that's a quest I've yet to tackle.

The problem with how people perceive photographers is just that--perception.
No one can deny that art is the emphasis of photography. When you try to define an artist you simply can not look at it objectively because it's simply..not..objective. It's riddled with biases and affinities and feelings that it's absolutely impossible to consider having a single definition of what a photographer is.

Why then are there better photographers than others? They simply have a knack of hitting the right nerves. They have the eye. They have talent. They have a primal understanding (or schooled understanding) of how the human brain tends to interprets things. This makes it easier for them to go with the flow of the human being's natural biases (rule of thirds and similar "rules"). They have the ability to turn light into pixels, pixels into pictures, pictures into art, art into what my brain perceives as good feelings. Everyone's a photographer these days I guess but only a few get past the gathering light and turning them to pixels.

a person who can capture life in an image..kanang when you look at his images maka trigger ug emotions, either you laugh or cry or feel guilty or excited..dili boring or lifeless images..

and to add..he can do it even with the simplest camera..
