went to globe yesterday. the guy who set my phone for gprs said no charge to be online...charged lang when u download stuff. even if i send emails daw walay charge. nag wap ko thru gprs that night and downloaded 5 polytones. 100 ra jud ang na-deduct from my balance. haven't tried the email yet though.

When Using Globe WAP over GPRS connection:
If you go to the globe wapsite and yahoo wapsite its free to surf around and downloading ra ang naay charge. Yahoo is the only email account you can go to, if use your own email account(sample@globe.com.ph; sample@pldtdsl.net etc..) through the the phones email client, it wont work, you wont be able to send/rcv mail.

-There maybe some instances you can go to other wapsites through this connection, and that would also be free, especially if the wapsite is new and globe hasnt blocked it yet.

When Using Internet over GPRS connection.
Every move you make you get charged. Sending and receiving email, you get charged. AGILE messenger you get charged. Downloading or uploading you get charged.

I think it depends on the APN settings you have used. The free APN setting can still be used though a bit unstable. Im talking of WAP over GPRS and not over HSCSD just to clear things out.

You need to have at least P15 balance in order to continue gprs!
Kung mu ubos ka ug P15. Blocked nka.
Knahanglan ka muadto sa globe ayala para activate balik.
Or tawag sa toll free number nila. kalimut ko sa toll free #. 211 man cguro

Wala man daw bayad if mag surf ka using GPRS wap sa imo mobile phone lang. But if you use your phone as a modem and connect to GPRS mao ka charged .25php per kb. i think..
