i made my own cornmeal from sweet corn that were already starting to get dry. I patiently scraped the kernels of the cob and dried the corn kernels for 3 days under the sun. After the span of 3 days I had a finely ground cornmeal, I did it with the help of a blender attachment that is used in making peanut butter.

my sisters here have many book recipes coz they always wanted to learn how to make a meal. :mrgreen:

regarding the cornmeal....i will do that kung meron matira nga hilaw na corn here. hehehe sige man gud mahurot oi. bisan 15 kilos pa. hahayyy... dali ra man gud i-luto. zap it in the microwave for like 10mins with the husk on... ayos! hehehehe.

nothing beats the taste of newly-harvested corn na newly-luto din. yum yum. less calories pa jud and no need of salt nor butter.

we had 1 boxfull of corn(45 pcs) and it did not last for a week, super sweet and juicy ang newly harvested corn. after 3 days 5 na lang natira. it was already starting to get dry so i placed it under the sun to hasten up the drying process.

hey...just had a thought here...can i do that with popcorn? cornmeal that is. hehehe

haven't tried that. try daw and tell me the results. mas easier kung popcorn kay dry na siya.
