    5. Satisfying the gunman's demands
"I wondered why the authorities just didn't give in to all of his demands," says Charles Shoebridge. "A promise extracted under force is not a promise that you are required to honour. Nobody wants to give in to the demands of terrorists, but in a situation like this, which did not involve a terrorist group, or release of prisoners, they could have just accepted his demands. He could be reinstated in the police - and then be immediately put in prison for life for hostage taking." The Philippines authorities did in fact give in to the gunman's demands, but too little, too late. One message promised to review his case, while he wanted it formally dismissed. A second message reinstating him as a police offer only arrived after the shooting had started.
The simplest solution of all, and wa gyud nila mabuhat.

LOLz.. Jackie Chan doesn't care about those hostage victims. I used to work in a factory back in high-school and most employees are Chinese from Hong Kong and they told me that they hate Jackie Chan. They said he's an arrogant prick when he got big in Hollywood and because of that, most HONK-kongers hates him. But Jackie Chan should be nice to all Filipinos since we're all FANS of him and he relied on our money for watching his movies during his pre-Hollywood career. He'd rather be on the Filipinos side who loves and praises him so much for his martial arts abilities than those HONK-kongers who hates him just because the way he portrays his personal life.

Well, we Filipinos always want to be recognized internationally. Congratulations, we now have the most ridiculed police force in the world.

3.) DILG - Should relay strategies and coordinate with elite forces
4.) SWAT Commader - Hasty assault yer ass... buntag pa..wa mo position ug clear strategy ug plan.
(ug maybe some bullets who killed the hostage gikan nila uban)

i strongly dis agree with this one... thats the point... the president just let other people decide... even if you are not that good in negotiations, you need to decide whats better for the country and not let other people decide the outcome for you... whats the result? shame in our country... this really shows that the philippines is in crisis for electing leaders that are incompetent.
