As any head of any organization, one should trust the executives under him, else he will be doing micro-management for mingling with other people's responsibility.

    Pnoy's options as Pres:
    1. media blackout. MEDIA BLACKOUT. MEDIA BLACKOUT.
    2. call and update HK officials, bsan courtesy lng 2 answer d call of Tsang. diplomatic protocol wa sunda way ntawag ni Tsang cya pa ntawag.
    3. call on d more experienced military forces, only he as pres can do this
    4. show some sign of grief d mag cge smile during the presscon
    5. admit failure d mangamong sa lain nasud like russia as basis of comparison

amaw mn ka unsa mn daw labot sa eleksyon ani na issue sa hostage taking?

confirm pariha mo utok ni Abnoy... haha,

question... if mo fail ang ubos dle ma blame ang higher management? also dle mn jd na ang point as a Head of state dapat na felt ang iya presence ato nga crisis not necesarry siya ang mahimo SWAT ka bogok ur excuse ui. like tawag siya sa HK officials to inform sa status sa crisis and wat plan to solve the crisis.. cguro mo report ang SWAT sa mga actions buhaton nila ngadto ni PNOY no? or cguro nanghunaw siya sa responsiblity maoh to ng close door meeting ang drama? simple logic lng na ui intawn yw na mo palabi tan.aw ug mga salida.. tsk tsk tsk

yw lage e excuse ang last election dbah cge mo ingan give chance to Pnoy sure naa tanan chance niya pero naunsa namn ang chance? another chance to prove nga karapadat siya sa iya position? hahayzzzz accept the fact nga ang ato ni daog pgka Pres dle capable to manage ang mga bogok nga pinoy... although not all pero mostly...

ang problema sa kapulisan dili lang nagsugod ato paghandle sa hostage taking. klaro kaayo, aside from lack of command, di jud trained ang ato mga pulis ug dili sila properly equipped to handle the situation. i have to give it to them, having the courage and the heart to have done what they could given the limited resources and the training. funny ila gibuhat, maybe. binulok, maybe. but look beyond, mao ra to kaya nila buhaton kay mao ra to ang nahatag sa ila sa training. the problem is ang system mismo sa PNP. they are not qualified, and its not their fault. fault sa ila systema wala sila giandam ug wala sila gihimo na qualified. its beyond the term of PNoy, but way way before pa.

we are always good at blaming games. that is our expertise. always, mas bright pa ta sa kinsay authority ug kinsay naglingkod. makes me wonder, sa kadaghan bright sa pilipinas, ngano wa man ta niasenso? aha man ang mga bright? tana they will have the courage to speak up, step up, and not just critic without actions. tana they will put their action where their mouth is.

mas nakita pa nato ang understanding sa isa ka hongkong national, kaysa sa kapwa pilipino. i am not saying na sakto ang gibuhat sa PNP, but pagsabot lang nganong naingon ana sila.

read back, daghan kaayo bright diri na thread. diri palang na. hehehehehe

and election is never a basis sa unsay bright or dili. lots of factors ang considerations nganong mag vote ang isa ka tao. there is vote against, or voting for someone who have greater chances to stop a top contender, voting kay napalit sila, party voting, popularity vote, etc etc.
